Remaining Corpus Over Time

How It Works

Each month the corpus earns a return and a fixed amount is withdrawn; the rest stays invested:

Balance = Corpus x (1 + r)^n - W x [((1 + r)^n - 1) / r]

Where: r = Monthly Rate of Return, n = Total Number of Months, W = Monthly Withdrawal. If returns exceed withdrawals the corpus grows; otherwise it depletes over time.

With an annual step-up, the monthly withdrawal is increased by the chosen percentage at the end of each year.
